In 2022/2023 we spent £9,803,649 on capital works and £7,842,951 on revenue works to your homes and communal areas.
Revenue spending covers day-to-day costs such as wages, emergency repairs, gas servicing, works to empty properties.
Capital expenditure relates to investments in assets such as building new homes and investment in our homes including the installation of solar panels and works to improve the energy efficiency of our properties.

This year we also:
- Increased the number of properties we own from 4794 to 4812
- Reduced the percentage of properties that fail to meet the Decent Home Standard from 1.3% to 0.94% (the UK average for Local Authorities is 1.77%)
- Reduced the average CO2 production for a property
