Pay a car park fine

Pay your parking fine online.

If your Penalty Charge Notice starts with the prefix YD, you must visit the Devon County Council Parking Pages.

If your parking ticket has been issued by us in one of our car parks, your reference number will start with the prefix XR.

Your parking fine will be discounted by 50% if paid within 14 days.

If you do not pay your Penalty Charge Notice, and you do not successfully appeal, we will take steps to recover the debt and the cost of the debt will increase the longer it remains unpaid.

You will need the Penalty Charge Notice number which is ten digits long and starts with the letters XR, and a credit or debit card to make the payment.

Once the penalty change notice has been paid, you will receive a receipt via email.

You can pay using our automated telephone line by calling 01392 277888 and asking for 'Pay Car Park Fine'. The payment line is available 24 hours.

Or post your payment to:

Parking Services
P.O. Box 811
Exeter

Cheques and postal orders should be made payable to 'Exeter City Council', and should quote the Penalty Charge Notice reference number on the reverse. We do not recommend that you send cash payments by post.
