5. Sustainable Transport SPD

We adopted our Supplementary Planning Document (SPD) on Sustainable Transport on 19 March 2013. It provides further detail in relation to policies in the Core Strategy (particularly CP9) and saved Local Plan First Review (particularly the "T" policies).

The SPD forms part of the Exeter Local Development Framework (LDF) and is a material consideration in the determination of planning applications. Its contents will need to be taken into consideration from the earliest stages of the development process, including in the purchase of sites and the negotiation and preparation of development schemes.

The SPD has been subject to Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA) screening and Equalities Impact Assessment (EQIA). The relevant documents are available below, together with the Adoption Statement and the Consultation Statement and its appendices.
