On street parking permits

From the 1st November 2011, Devon County Council introduced an online service.

The aim of the new system is to allow customers to apply for, and renew their permits from the comfort of their own home, saving residents the need to visit Exeter City Council Offices as permits will be posted. It is no longer possible to obtain an on street parking permit from the Exeter City Council Offices.

For those without internet access, internet facilities are available free of charge in all Devon County Council libraries. Alternatively, people can apply by telephone by calling the MyDevon Customer Service Centre on 0345 155 1073, Monday - Friday from 8am - 8pm.

You can renew your permit at any time during the expiry month. It is important that you renew on time, as if you do park in a resident's parking space without a valid permit you are likely to receive a Penalty Charge Notice.
