EAC is a voluntary group of arts managers, promoters, educationalists and practitioners drawn from arts organisations, venues and institutions across the city and constituted by the City Council to administer its small grants scheme.

EAC distributes project grants and guarantees against loss up to £1,000 to artists, arts organisations, individuals, community groups and promoters.

Arts and Festivals on behalf of Exeter City Council are invited to comment on South West Arts Regional Arts Lottery Bids and Capital Arts Lottery bids relating to arts activity and arts development in the city.

Arts and Festivals work closely with other local authority arts officers, arts funding and advisory agencies including the Arts Council England South West, South West Screen, South West Marketing, Public Art South West, Arts & Business First Light (Film Council), British Film Institute, trusts and sponsors.
