Exeter's Underground Passages

Visit Exeter's exciting Exeter's Underground Passages, some of which date from the Medieval period. The passages were built to house pipes bringing fresh water into the city. Experience what it must have been like to carry out repairs to the pipes and learn more about their fascinating history. The trip begins with a visit to the new heritage centre with fantastic interactive displays for hands on fun and an informative DVD presentation. The underground part of the tour is suitable for people aged over 5.

St Nicholas Priory -  A Tudor Home

Experience Tudor life in the heart of the city at St Nicholas Priory. Adorned with quality replica furniture and painted in the bright colours of the period, this former Benedictine priory is now presented as the 1602 home of the wealthy Hurst family.

Riverside Leisure Centre

Riverside Leisure Centre At the Riverside Leisure Centre, there are sports facilities for all ages including a wide range of children's activities. The 25m main pool has Aquazone Lessons for children and adults, and Inflatable Fun Sessions. Children under 8 must be accompanied by an adult. Learn to swim lessons allow children and parents to develop water confidence together, and Bumpers is an exciting soft play facility for the under 8s.

Tenpin

Tenpin For great family fun in the city visit Exeter's refurbished 22 lane Tenpin Bowling centre. This exciting facility is great for both experienced bowlers or beginners. For something different why not try awesome glow in the dark Cosmic Bowling with state of the art lighting, neon special effects and cosmic sounds. There are also pool tables, a great food bar serving burgers and other meals, and a licenced drinks bar. Children's and teenagers parties can be arranged.
