They cover approximately 30 hectares and are the resting place for over 100,000 former residents including victims of cholera epidemics, the Theatre Fire of 1887 and of the Exeter Blitz. You can park in the cemeteries but please take care not to block access and be sensitive if there is a funeral taking place. Exeter's cemeteries and graves - Exeter Memories has information about interesting graves at the cemeteries. Other cemeteries nationally can be located via the Institute of Cemetery and Crematorium Management. Local Church of England graveyards can be located via the Diocese of Exeter.
