Whether you are looking for large 'High Street' names or small intimate shops with specialist items, Exeter is a great place to shop!  The Princesshay mixed use development has won prizes for its innovative design. You will find many clothes shops, restaurants, the department store Debenhams and other outlets here. Check out Roman Walk for independent stores and a great delicatessen.

A compact city, Exeter has some superb boutique shops within a short walk of the High Street.  Look in the Castle Quarter that includes Gandy Street as well as the West Quarter for individual interesting local shops that you will not find in other cities.
