Exeter's High Street is reasonably level with only a slight incline as you go up it in the direction of Princesshay.

Public toilets for people with disabilities are located just behind the High Street (near St Stephen's Church) on the ground floor of St Stephen's House at 9 Catherine Street.  In the High Street, large stores Marks and Spencer, House of Fraser and Boots also have accessible toilet facilities for their customers, normally open during all opening hours.

Princesshay Development

A newly designed shopping centre that opened in September 2007.  It is mainly flat and piazzas and wide walkways were designed to allow easy wheelchair access to shops and restaurants.

Shopmobility is now based within the Princesshay Quarter, in Paris Street.  This is directly behind Park and Ride bus stops and next to Princesshay Car Park.  Exeter Shopmobility provides manual and powered wheelchairs and scooters to help people with limited mobility to shop and use city centre facilities.

The nearest toilets for people with disabilities are located on the ground floor of St Stephen's House at 9 Catherine Street.  Within the Princesshay development, department store Debenhams also has accessible toilet facilities.

Guildhall Shopping Centre

Undercover shops are on two levels here. Entrance to the upper shopping level and the Guildhall Car Park (on level three) is via a lift.

Public toilets for people with disabilities are on the ground level.
