Please complete the forms below. You can download the New traders for the market (not applicable for the car boot sale)Please note you must have public liability insurance to £5 million to trade on the Sunday Market. Please bring documentation with you on the day so the Supervisors on duty can make a note of the details as we are unable to permit you to trade without it. You will also be required to complete an application form for our records. You can do this in advance by selecting the Devon County Council Car Boot Code of PracticeThe Matford Centre Sunday Market & Car Boot Sale is a member of the Trading Standards Car Boot Code of Practice. The Code of Practice ensures legitimate market traders can be clearly identified as they have a legal obligation to display their business name and address. We do take a number of measures to prevent the sale of counterfeit and illegal items on the market, but if you see a stall selling a product which you think is suspect take a note of the vehicle registration, position of the stall in question and a description of the seller. Please do not approach the seller yourself, but report the details to Trading Standards (Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm 01392 381381 OR evenings & weekends 01392 499 499) or Devon & Cornwall Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111. Alternatively pass the details on to a member of staff on duty during the day so they can take further action. |
