Site Allocations and Development Management DPD

The 'Have your say' consultation ended on 28 September 2012. The responses received will help shape the draft document which will be subject to consultation in the Summer of 2013.

Exeter Site Allocations and Development Management Document: Have your say

Exeter City Council is carrying out consultation as part of the preparation of a new document and would like to hear your views.

The Site Allocations and Development Management document will: 

  1. Allocate land for new development.
  2. Designate land for protection, safeguarding or where specific policies apply.
  3. Contain 'development management' policies that will be used to determine whether planning applications submitted to the Council should be granted planning permission.
  4. Include a proposals map that will show allocations and designations.

This initial 'Have your say' consultation will help shape the preparation of the final document and so it is important that you take this opportunity to give us your views.

The consultation period commenced on Monday 23 July. The consultation period has been extended by two weeks and will now end on Friday 28 September 2012.

The consultation document, together with a response form, is available to view and download below: (Please note that due to their detailed nature (maps/tables/diagrams) the following documents may take longer to download on slow internet connections).

Copies of the consultation document are also available for inspection at the following locations:

City Council Customer Service Centre, Civic Centre, Paris Street, Exeter (between the hours of 8.30am and 5.00pm Monday to Friday, and Saturdays 9.30am to 12.30pm).

At the following libraries during normal opening hours:

Exeter Central Library, Castle Street, Exeter
Pinhoe Branch Library, Main Road, Pinhoe, Exeter
St Thomas Library, Church Road, St Thomas, Exeter
Topsham Branch Library, Nelson Close, Topsham, Exeter
