In 2010 the EHOD Employment and Skills Board commissioned local consultants Roger Tym & Partners to undertake this study. The study determined the quantity and type of jobs likely to be generated by the Growth Point developments and identifies a programme of training and specific actions that can be delivered to help prepare EHOD residents for the employment opportunities. Growth Point developments include: Exeter Science Park, Exeter International Airport expansion, Intermodal Freight Terminal, Cranbrook, Skypark Business Park and Flybe Training Academy. This research and the recommended actions were used to inform the development of the EHOD ESB Employment and Skills Plan.
