For 2013/14 Exeter City Council is offering a fresh round of our popular community grants scheme. These grants are to fund grassroots projects that benefit local residents. There are two types of grant available, Ward Grant and City Grants.
Ward grantsThese are for projects that work in just one ward. Each ward has £2,000 available and the maximum that can be applied for is £300. Decisions on ward grants will be made by the councillors in each ward. City grantsThere is a central pot of £20,000 for projects that work across more than one ward. There is a maximum of £2,000 per application and decisions will be taken by the Community Grants - Citywide panel which is made up of: the Lead Councillor for Community Involvement and a representative from the each of the other political groups on the Council.
