If you do not wish to use this service then please refer to the Mini Guides and Interactive Houses section (below) where you can obtain some limited information about what developments you may be able to undertake without the need for planning consent. However, in many cases this may not apply (e.g. if your property is a Listed Building or in a Conservation Area or on a housing estate where Permitted Development Rights have been removed etc). IT IS IMPORTANT you realise that you may still need planning permission for your proposed development and that the Council may take enforcement action in respect of any unauthorised development.
