Vision Forums

Vision Forum - 21 October 2010, 2 - 4pm, Exeter Corn Exchange

October Vision Forum

The October Vision Forum was attended by over 100 people, representing members of the public, community groups and local agencies.

The Forum looked at the themes of stronger communities, improving health and housing in the city. These are the key themes of the Social Health Inclusion Partnership (SHIP) which includes the city council, primary care trust, voluntary and community sectors.

New format for Community Forum

Vision Forum June 2010 pic From April 2010 the old style Community Forum will be replaced by a series of mini-conferences. These will be based around themes such as environmental issues, health and social inclusion and culture and closely linked to the Exeter Vision. The aim is to have round table discussions between members of the public, representatives from community and voluntary agencies and representatives from agencies such as the Met Office, Environment Agency, Devon Wildlife Trust, Transition Exeter and Exeter City Council. This way, issues, problems and possible solutions can be debated in detail.
