Our vision and plans for our Council Housing Service over the next 5 years
The Council Housing Strategy sets out our vision and plans for our Council Housing Service over the next 5 years. It provides a guide to our work, and to our partners work on housing matters.
There are many issues facing us and our residents including significant new legislation and guidance. We will be required to address all these requirements to make sure that we provide the best service we can to our tenants.
There are 5 key objectives set out in the strategy. These are:
- Enhancing Resident Experience;
- Providing the Right Homes in the Right Places;
- Providing Value for Money Services;
- Supporting our residents;
- Ensuring the Safety of our Homes and Residents.
For each priority we have set out:
- where we are currently,
- where we want to be,
- how we will get there and
- how will we know we have got there.
