About the Partnership

The
Partnership was established following the Crime and Disorder Act 1998.
This Act placed a joint responsibility on Local Authorities as well
as the Police to reduce crime and disorder in local areas. Here
in Exeter there has been a long history of close working between the City
Council and the Police, so the Partnership was able to build on good
existing links. Vision Statement The Partnership’s vision is to make Exeter the safest city in England always. |
