Report graffiti

We aim to remove racist or offensive graffiti as soon as we can, however, the removal time may depend on restraints imposed by circumstances, for example, where the graffiti needs specialist equipment or the owner’s permission is required.

If the offensive graffiti is on private property, we will be unable to remove it unless consent is given by the owner. In most cases graffiti removal is free of charge.

Graffiti often appears on land that is not the responsibility of Exeter City Council, if you notice graffiti on property that is owned by for example Network Rail, Environment Agency, Devon County Council, Open Reach etc. you are advised to report this directly to them.

If the graffiti is on your property and you would like us to remove it, please give us your consent before reporting the graffiti using the button below.
